THE COLUMN Theatre Awards, now in its eighth year, honors excellence in the theatre arts within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding counties.

THE COLUMN Theatre Awards is the only Awards organization in Texas to donate all proceeds (after operating costs) to BROADWAY CARES / EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS.  Since its inception, the awards gala has raised over $9,000 for BC/EFA.  THE COLUMN Theatre Awards is now listed with major benefactors and celebrities in the Broadway Cares "Angel" campaign.  THE COLUMN Awards is, in fact, the ONLY Awards organization to be listed in this luminous group.

The 8th Annual COLUMN Theatre Awards will be honoring productions within the Dallas-Fort Worth theatre community that were produced between January 1st and December 31st, 2006.

The Awards are voted on by the subscribers of The Column Entertainment Newsletter.
