INDIANA SOLO AND THE HUNT FOR THE JEWELED MACGUFFIN,
written by Kevin Michael Fuld and directed by Joey Dietz.

SILVER SCREEN SLAYER is a film-noire comedy mystery that pays homage to the classic noire and mystery thrillers of the 1930's and 40's. It also tips a hat to the comedy stylings of Mel Brooks, the Marx Brothers, and even the Three Stooges.

Johnny Tewtones, Ace Detective, is just a simple Private Dick trying to make his way in a city rife with crime. When a sultry Hollywood dame with legs that go all the way up hires him to solve her own murder, he takes the case and heads for Tinseltown, the place were dreams come true and death is done in style. Who's picking off every actress cursed with playing the lead role in Matahari's Revenge? How will Johnny solve the crime in a town filled with payed liars? What does the up and coming Socialist Party from Germany have to do with any of it? And how many cliché monologues can one detective spew in a two-act play?

INDIANA SOLO AND THE HUNT FOR THE JEWELED MACGUFFIN is an audience-participation melodrama and a loving homage/spoof of the films of George Lucas and Harrison Ford, as well as the Saturday morningserials that inspired two of the biggest movie franchises ever.

Follow universally renowned intergalactic archeologist, Indiana Solo and his sidekick Nerfy as they try and rescue Karen Exposition from the evil space Nazis. It's a race against time and the stakes couldn't be higher. Who will find the legendary Macguffin first? Come see the show to find out!!

SILVER SCREEN SLAYER will premier on JUNE 12, 2014, and will run Thurs-Sun through June 22 at the Margo Jones Theatre.
