Announcing a NEW holiday album: HOLIDAZZLE: Encore!

 

Your favorite DFW actors return to the studio this year with a dazzling new CD of holiday music, HOLIDAZZLE: Encore!, just in time for the season’s festivities and gift-giving!

HOLIDAZZLE: Encore! brings together the shining stars of the Dallas/Fort Worth Musical Theater scene in a compilation of holiday songs, ranging from the traditional to the contemporary. Each track features a different solo or group performance. All proceeds will benefit local children’s charity Children’s Cancer Fund.

Children’s Cancer Fund (CCF) was founded in 1982 by a coalition of parents whose children were receiving cancer therapy at Children’s Medical Center. Today, CCF continues to support families and doctors in the fight against childhood cancer. Through strategic investments, the organization champions real results in research and provides care for our North Texas community. The annual fundraiser, the Children’s Cancer Fund Luncheon and Fashion Show, brings together children, celebrities and sponsors who escort the children as the stars on the runway. Funds raised by Children's Cancer Fund at the annual event help to advance research and treatment programs in pediatric oncology at Children's Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center Dallas which ultimately benefits children worldwide.

DFW Actors Give Back President Bob Hess says, “Many thanks to everyone who helped DFW Actors Give Back raise $15,000 by purchasing HOLIDAZZLE: Act II in 2011. We are thrilled to get to work creating a new CD to support Children’s Cancer Fund.”

Founding board members returning to assist in this endeavor are Bob Hess, Doug Miller, and Andrea & Keith Redmon. The 2013 board members are Kipton Moravec, Delynda Johnson Moravec, Megan Kelly Bates, Cathy O’Neal, Lon Barrera, B.J. Cleveland, Stephanie Felton, Sara Shelby-Martin, Arianna Movassagh and Chad Peterson.
