Stacey Upton earned her degree in Theatre and Speech from Northwestern University. She is a graduate of The Groundlings improv training program in Los Angeles and a Professional Member of Writers Boot Camp in LA. She appeared in her first play with the Wichita Children's Theatre at the age of 5 as "Pixie on Toadstool" and fell in love with the theatre. She has performed in, written and directed over 150 plays with numerous theatres and Improv groups in Chicago, Los Angeles, Kansas and Tennessee. Stacey also worked as a Reader in Los Angeles for CAA and multiple production companies, and as a writer's assistant on "Star Trek: Voyager". Her most recent play, "Like Kissing Moonlight" received multiple productions in Tennessee, and her screenplay adaptation of it has been optioned for film production.
