Eli Berke
Associate Critic
Eli Berke since a very young age has always felt a connection to the arts. Whether it was making home films with his Father's camera, to working under his favorite teacher as a budding photographer and journalist, to performing on stage in way too many productions as the jester, or the funny character who always dies first. Eli chose to continue with his passion as a director into college and recently graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, where he learned from state renowned theatre educators such as Alison Frost and Kelly Russell. Eli still considers journalism and writing as an important part of his life and future, however they've been sidelined for the last four years in pursuit of his college education. It's with much excitement that he joins the staff of The Column as his two passions, Theatre and journalism, will finally take center stage together in his role as critic.
