Amanda Brooke Edwards (Actor's Equity Candidate) has worked in Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Oklahoma City University where she graduated Magna cum Laude in 2011. She also spent her first semester of college at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City where she was a part of the Integrated Program studying Musical Theatre. Theater credits include Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, Amneris in Adia, Rizzo in Grease, Jeanie in Hair, Little Red in Into the Woods (Critic's Choice for Best Supporting Actor from The Column), Andromache in Trojan Women, Lysistrata in Lysistrata, and Clara in Hay Fever. Amanda has worked with many theatres in the metroplex including but not limited to Pocket Sandwich Theatre, Greater Lewisville Community Theatre, Art Center Theatre, McKinney Rep, and Sherman Community Players. She also opened her own theatre company, NTACTheatre - North Texas Actor's Collaborative Theatre in 2015 where she produced her very first full length play entitled Dirty Dishes.
