David Hanna
Associate Critic
David Hanna is a 2008 graduate of the University of North Texas Department of Dance and Theatre. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre with an English minor. During his time at UNT, he performed in shows like SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR and ALICE IN WONDERLAND Created by the Manhattan Project; trained in directing and multiple technical disciplines; and wrote one original play, An offering, that was produced as part of a Summer theater series. He also completed a thesis paper as part of the Honors Thesis program, exploring the literary connections between Shakespeare and David Mamet. He directed two shows for Denton's Sundown Collaborative Theatre: OTHELLO and MR. MARMALADE. He was a member of Sundown in the 2010-2011 season, working as a collaborator on (il)logical and helping with fundraising, production, and general business responsibilities.
