Jam For Jackson

Mike Strecher  is a set designer/master carpenter/facilities manager at the Denton Campus Theater.   On New Years Day his son, Jackson Strecher, suffered a severe brain hemorrhage when an entanglement of arteries and veins burst causing stroke-related symptoms including paralysis and inability to communicate.  A 2013 graduate of Denton High School and freshman at UNT, this talented young musician and performer, who literally grew up in the Denton Community Theatre’s theatre school program, has already undergone two emergency surgical procedures and is currently awaiting reparative brain surgery.  His road to recovery will be a long and challenging one.   The theater community in Denton is asking the rest of the DFW Theater family to all join hands to help by attending and supporting two very special events.
